8:00am-9:15am - Race Day Registration 9:15a.m. - Kid's 200M Race 9:30am - Men's Open Race (All ages) 9:45am - Women's Open Race (All ages) 10:00am - Recreational Men/Women (All ages) 10:15am - Youth Boys/Girls (18 & Under) 10:30am - Masters Men/Women (40 & Over) 10:50am - Awards Event Description Presented by Eugene Running Company, this is the 5th running of the only road mile race in the region throughout the year. This year, the event will feature various waves for all ages and abilities. The Men's and Women's Open races are open to everyone and will also feature elite runners. The Recreational division is intended for the less-competitive runners and walkers accepting the challenge of participating in a road mile. The Youth race is open to all competitors ages 18 and under, and the Masters race is open to all participants 40 and over. Distances This event features a 1 mile and Kids 200 meter fun run. Location 5th & Pearl - Eugene, Oregon. Course Again in 2009, the flat and fast road mile course will start at 5th & Pearl, proceed west to Charnelton, north to 4th Street, west to Lawrence, south to 5th Street and return to the finish at 5th & Pearl. Entry Fees (1 Mile) $15 for adults, $10 for kids (10 & Under) through May 30. $20 for adults, $15 for kids (10 & Under), May 31 through June 5. $25 for adults, $20 for kids (10 & Under) on race day, June 6. Short-sleeve cotton event shirts can be purchased for an additional $6, tech shirts for $10 - shirts are only guaranteed if ordered by Friday, May 29. * The Kids 200M race is free * Participants competing in the Recreational, Youth or Masters divisions can also compete in the Open division at no extra cost. Registration In person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center), through Friday, June 5 at 6pm, and on race day from 8:00am to 9:15am.. Packet pickup will be at the Eugene Running Company on Friday, June 5, from 11am to 6pm and on race day, June 6, from 8:00am to 9:15am. Click here for an ENTRY FORM. Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION. Awards Awards from the Eugene Running Company will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All fun run participants will receive ribbons. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. Instructions for proper chip placement will be included in race packets. PLEASE NOTE: Timing chips will be collected at the end of the finish chute, participants must use the supplied ties to attach chips (do not lace shoelaces through the timing chips).
